How to apply?
Just 3 steps to open the account and apply for the insurances:
Download the request form and the self certification form. Complete the forms and attach it with photocopies of the employees' In-Principal Approval Letter from MOM or their work permit cards, their passports and cheque payment for the insurances.
Tick the insurance options on the request form, Insurance Bond and/or Medical Insurance if you would like to apply for the insurance. Enclose the cheque payment for the insurance, payable to MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.
Mail or visit the centre at the following address to submit the documents for processing:

Operating Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm
(Mondays – Friday, excluding Public Holidays)
We will contact you within 15 working days (priority processing given if you apply for the insurance) of our receipt of the documents to fix an appointment for your employees to collect their passbooks and ATM cards.
Arrange for your employees to visit the Account Services Centre (for Work Permit holders) with their original work permit cards and passports during the scheduled appointment.
For the insurance applications, you'll enjoy speedy turnaround:
- Insurance Bond: MSIG Insurance will electronically transmit the Insurance Bond details to MOM within 3 working days of receiving the Request Form for Work Permit Holders. The Letter of Guarantee will be mailed to the address stated on the Request Form within 7 working days upon the application received date.
- Medical Insurance: MSIG will email/fax the policy number to the contact details stated on the Request Form for Work Permit Holders within 3 working days of receiving your completed Request Form. The policy documents will be mailed to the address stated on the Request Form within 7 working days of receiving your completed application.
