  2. How do I use DBS d2pay?

    At the merchant’s site when you select DBS d2pay as your payment mode, you will be asked to key in your iBanking User ID (UID) and PIN. Please follow the on-screen Transaction Signing instructions with your iBanking Secure Device to complete the transaction.

  3. Where can I use DBS d2pay?

    We have a good number of merchants who have signed up to use the d2pay service but we will continue to sign up goverment agencies, online merchants and e-tailers for your online convenience. You can use DBS d2pay whenever you shop online. DBS has signed up a whole range of government agencies, online merchants and e-tailers to ensure that you have fun shopping on the Internet.

  4. What do I need to apply for DBS d2pay?

    To use DBS d2pay service, you need to be a iBanking user.

    • Click here for the easiest & fastest way to get your very own iBanking User ID & PIN if you currently do not have the service.
    • Click here if you are an online merchant interested in offering DBS d2pay to your customers.

  5. What precautions should I take when transacting on the Internet?

    You should ensure that the page prompting you for your PIN has a page certification for "d2pay.dbs.com".

    Internet Explorer

    To view the certification, do the following:

    • Right-click on the page
    • Select "Properties" - you should verify that the URL shows https://d2pay.dbs.com/.
    • Click on "Certificates" - you should see "Issued to: dbsd2pay.dbs.com" and verify that the date is valid

    Chrome

    To view the certification, do the following:

    • Click on the green bar with the security lock, located on the address bar.
    • On the dropdown menu, select the “Connection” tab.
    • Click on “Certificate information” - you should see "Issued to: dbsd2pay.dbs.com" and verify that the date is valid.

  6. Why is it important to ensure that the certificate of the page is from DBS Bank?

    It confirms that you are submitting the information to DBS Bank, that your account information is protected with SSL encryption against unintentional disclosure of information to third parties.

  7. Will I be charged for using DBS d2pay?

    No.

  8. Is this service available 24 hours?

    Yes, you can make payment any time round the clock.

Getting Started

  1. How can I start using DBS d2pay?

    All you need is DBS iBanking. All iBanking users can use DBS d2pay immediately to make payments securely on the Internet to participating online merchants.

  2. Can I opt out of the service?

    Yes, you can deactivate the d2pay service using DBS iBanking anytime. Simply follow the steps below:

    • Select “More Payment Services”, which can be found under “Pay” tab of the top navigation.
    • Select “Change d2pay Limit” under “Manage Payments and GIRO”.
    • Set the limit to 0, verify your details before clicking “Submit” to complete the transaction.

    The deactivation is immediate. No DBS d2pay payments will be allowed until you re-activate this service in writing using the DBS d2pay Multi-Purpose Form.

  3. How do I change the account designated for my DBS d2pay payments?

    You can use the DBS d2pay Multi-Purpose Form to instruct us to change your designated account for DBS d2pay payments.

  4. How do I change the DBS d2pay payment limit?

    Simply follow the steps below to lower your payment limit:

    • Select “More Payment Services”, which can be found under “Pay” tab of the top navigation.
    • Select “Change d2pay Limit” under “Manage Payments and GIRO”.
    • Choose your preferred limit from the dropdown box, verify your details before clicking “Submit” to complete the transaction.

    If you wish to raise the limit beyond the available limits in the dropdown menu, please write to us or use the DBS d2pay Multi-Purpose Form.

Making Payment

  1. How do I make payment?

    After you have chosen the DBS d2pay as the payment option at the merchant's website, the Enter User ID page will be presented and thereafter, DBS will prompt you for your personal identification number (PIN) to verify your identity and to carry out your payment request.

    • For First Time Users
      You will be prompted to perform a one-time DBS d2pay setup process where you designate a DBS or POSB savings or current account as your default debiting account as well as a daily payment limit. The selected account and daily limit will be used for all your future DBS d2pay transactions.
    • For Subsequent Users
      You will be requested to enter your User ID and PIN to authorise the payment. The amount will be deducted from your designated account and paid to the merchant automatically.

  2. When will the money be deducted?

    After you have entered your PIN and clicked the 'Submit' button, the money will be debited immediately from your designated account. You will receive an acknowledgement page with a transaction reference if the payment is successful.

  3. What will happen if I do not have enough money in my account?

    The transaction will be rejected. You can transfer funds from another account to your DBS d2pay default account via DBS iBanking before using DBS d2pay again.

  4. How do I know if the payment is successful?

    An acknowledgement page with a unique transaction reference will be presented to you for all successful payments. You can also check the amount deducted in your Transaction History on iBanking.

  5. What should I do if I suspect there is an unauthorised payment made?

    You should deactivate the d2pay service immediately using DBS iBanking. Please notify the Bank immediately at 1800-111 1111 (or 65-6327 2265 from overseas) to deactivate your iBanking and provide us the necessary details to facilitate investigations.
