    It will be available from 3 Jan 2012 onwards
  2. Which are the participating Post Offices?
    You can conduct the selected banking services at all Post Offices islandwide. However, for the deposit of cash bags for Corporate Banking Customers, it will be available at Bukit Batok Central, Jurong West, Singapore Post Centre and Yishun Central.

B. Banking Services at the Post Office

Withdraw cash with ATM card

  1. What is the amount that I can withdraw?
    You can withdraw from a minimum of S$200 to a maximum of S$5,000.
  2. What is the denomination that I can withdraw in?
    You can withdraw in denominations of S$10.
  3. What do I need to produce for this service?
    You will need to present your POSB/DBS ATM or debit card. Authentication will be done via your ATM card PIN.
  4. Will my account be instantly debited?
    Yes, the account will be instantly debited and you will see "SINGPOST" on your bank statement.
  5. Is there a service fee for the cash withdrawal at the Post Office?
    No, there is no service fee.
  6. Can I withdraw from my secondary account?
    You can only withdraw from your secondary account provided there are sufficient funds in the account (and not an account where the funds are drawn from the primary account).
  7. What is the withdrawal limit for cash withdrawal at the Post Office?
    The withdrawal limit is S$5,000. It does not affect ATM withdrawal limit or NETS purchase limit.
  8. Can I change my withdrawal limit at the Post Office?
    No, it is fixed at S$5,000.
  9. What is the reference code and description that will be reflected on my statement/passbook?
    It will be reflected as:
    NWL    Cash Withdrawal Others
    NPW    Purchase with Cash withdrawal

Deposit cash with ATM card

  1. What is the amount that I can deposit?
    You can deposit a minimum of S$10 to a maximum of S$5,000
  2. What is the denomination that I can deposit in?
    You can deposit in multiples of $10.
  3. What do I need to produce for this service?
    You will need to present your POSB/DBS ATM or debit card. Authentication will be done via your ATM card PIN.
  4. Will my account be instantly credited?
    Yes, the account will be instantly credited and you will see "SINGPOST" on your bank statement.
  5. Is there a service fee for the cash depositl at the Post Office?
    No, there is no service fee.
  6. What is the reference code and description that will be reflected on my statement/passbook?
    It will be reflected as:
    NCD    Cash Deposit Others
    NDF    Cash deposit Others Service Charge

Submit application for POSB Everyday Savings Account

  1. Can I open a joint all or joint alternate POSB Everyday Savings Account at the Post Office?
    No, only single personal POSB Everyday Savings Account can be opened at the Post Office.
  2. Can I open other types of account at the Post Office?
    No, only POSB Everyday Savings Account (personal-single) can be opened at Singpost at the moment.
  3. How long will it take for the account to be opened?
    The turnaround time for the account to be opened is T+7 days.
  4. Is my information being captured by the Post Office?
    No, the Post Office is only helping to facilitate the collection of the application form.

Deposit of cash bags for Corporate Banking customers

  1. Who is eligible for this service?
    DBS Corporate Banking customers who have opted for the cash bag service.
  2. Is the Post Office well equipped to collect cash bags at its outlets?
    Yes, the Post Office has increased its security measures to ensure that it is well equipped to undertake this service.

Access banking forms

  1. Is there a fee for the printing of form?
    No, there is no service fee for the printing of forms.
    However, for forms without Business Reply Slip (paid by addressee), customer will be required to purchase a postage stamp for mailing.
