Why run for kids?
At POSB, we recognize the importance of educating and developing the young.We are happy to partner People's Association to organize the POSB PAssion Run for Kids 2016 to support the children in the community so that they can have a happier childhood and a brighter future.
Who are the kids we're helping?
The POSB PAssion Kids Fund aims to support children in the community through different programmes in Singapore. It is part of the People's Association Community Development Fund (PACDF), a registered charity under the Charities Act and has been conferred Institution of a Public Charter (IPC) status.
What can I do for the kids?
You can make a difference to the lives of the children simply by running to support this cause! You can also make a donation to the POSB PAssion Kids Fund. Refer to POSB PAssion Kids Fund tab for more information.

What is the POSB PAssion Kids Fund?
Managed independently as part of the People’s Association Community Development Fund (PACDF), the fund aims to support children (0-16 years old) in the community through events and programmes with sustainable impact on the development of the child. The fund is a registered charity under the Charities Act and has been conferred Institutions of a Public Character (IPC) status. More than 230,000 children have benefitted from the fund.
Notable Programmes supported by POSB PAssion Kids FundPOSB PAssion KidsWrite Programme
In celebration of SG50, POSB and People's Association, together with National Library Board and SoCh in Action, launched the KidsWrite Campaign to capture Singapore children's vision of the nation in 2065.
Through this campaign, we reached out to more than 5000 children in Singapore.
Best entries were compiled into a limited edition SG50 book "Our Homeland 2065: Musings of Singapore's children" which was launched on 13 Sep 2015 at the POSB PAssion Run for Kids event. Find out more at www.posb.com.sg/kidswrite.3D Tronics Challenge
3D Tronics Challenge aimed to stimulate students’ interest in science and technology. Students attended workshops on robotics, 3D design and printing lessons and participated in a competition which enabled them to showcase their acquired skills.Teater Pelajar Production Project
Through this project, students were exposed to Singapore’s history and Malay folklore culture. They went through a series of trainings and put together an SG50 theatre production.

What is Corporate Challenge?
Form a team of 8 adults and represent your company/ group in the Corporate Challenge. The total gun timing of top 6 runners, including one of whom must be female, will be tabulated. The top 3 teams with the fastest total timing will stand to win attractive prizes.

In the event of inclement weather, the Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the race, shorten the race or modify the route. However, should the inclement weather persist, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without any refund of registration fee.

You can deposit your belongings at the baggage check-in counter provided. Runners are advised to carry the minimum essentials to the run.The baggage counter will be manned by volunteers and please note that the organizer will not be held responsible for any loss of items or damage.
