Help your child handle school stress
School can be stressful for some children. It can be caused by reasons including difficulty in learning or getting along with classmates.
Here are some symptoms that your child is under stress:
- Throws tantrums or cries more frequently
- Withdraws from activities
- Expresses anxiety
- Changes in sleep or appetite
- Pretends to be sick
- Refuses to go to school

Keep calmMornings are important as they will set the mood for the day. So make sure your child has enough time and has everything ready before he or she leaves for school. |

TalkIf you sense that your child is feeling stressed after school, try to start a conversation by asking about his or her day. |
