POSB Smart Senior - FAQs

No, this special pilot programme is only available for Yishun Riverwalk RC selected residents. Currently, 62 seniors selected by Yishun Riverwalk RC are part of this pilot programme.


The pilot programme will run for 3 months, from May 2018 to July 2018.


It can be used to tell time, track steps, and use as a holder for the POSB ATM Card. (Kiosks at the RC can be used to view the number of steps you have taken). Customers may also personalize it with their nickname via the Smart Kiosk located at Yishun Riverwalk RC.


No, the sleeve is splash & water resistant.


Customer can call POSB Hotline at 1800 111 1111 to report loss. For the pilot, no replacement will be given for the Smart Sleeve.


The seniors can approach the RC Manager of Yishun Riverwalk Residents’ Committee or contact POSB Hotline at 1800 111 1111.


The bank will take on the learnings and feedback gathered from the 3-month pilot, in order to improve the next iteration to best suit the needs of the seniors.


The bank plans to extend POSB Smart Senior to more seniors island-wide once the programme is refined and finalized, i.e. by taking into account feedback and learnings from the pilot(s).

This pilot programme is open to residents selected by Yishun Riverwalk Residents’ Committee.
