How to enable Push Notifications

You will be prompted to enable push notifications when you log in to digibank for the first time.

On your device, you will need to allow notifications from the digibank app to receive push notifications

Settings > Notifications > DBS digibank > Allow Notifications

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Push Notifications are alerts relating to your banking activity or promotions that will be sent to your digibank mobile. 

These messages will be stored in your notification inbox for your easy tracking and reference. Please go to your device settings to turn on notifications for digibank in order to receive them.  


You will be able to enjoy secured banking experience at your fingertip & conveniently monitor your transactions through your notification inbox. 

You can also monitor your account closely for any fraudulent transaction or SMS phishing. 


You may follow the steps below to enable Push Notification 

digibank Mobile:

  1. Sign in to digibank app.
  2. You will receive a prompt to enable Push Notification
  3. Click on “Enable”
  4. Please go to your device settings to turn on notifications for digibank in order to receive them on your mobile device.  


digibank Online:

  1. Login to Internet Banking 
  2. Click on the  icon at the top right page 
  3. Select “Manage Alerts” 
  4. Enable Push notification for selected services. 
  5. Please go to your device settings to turn on notifications for digibank in order to receive them on your mobile device.  

You will receive mobile push notifications for selected services securely in your digibank app, instead of via SMS.  
 
you will need to turn on notifications for digibank app when you open the app for the first time, or in your device settings.

You can see the Push Notification for your next transaction immediately.


Starting from December 2019, you will progressively receive  push notifications when you perform the following transactions once you have enabled them: 
  • Funds Transfer To My Account
  • Funds Transfer to Other DBS/POSB Account
  • Funds Transfer to Other Bank Account
  • Credit Card Payment
  • Bill Payment
  • D2Pay (eNETS) Transactions

Yes, you can customise your notification preferences.  

  1. Login to Internet Banking 
  2. Click on the  icon at the top right page 
  3. Select “Manage Alerts” 

You can only register one device at any one point in time.

The notifications are stored for a period of 30 days. Remember to enable Push Notification on your new mobile device.

It could be due to the following reasons: 

  • Change of registered mobile device
  • It can only be activated on one mobile phone at a time 
  • Device notification setting is disabled
  • Your digibank app is deleted
  • Your digibank app is not updated to the latest version
  • Your mobile device is not connected to WIFI or data network

You may retrieve your notifications before or after logging into your digibank mobile. 

Click on the icon "bell icon" at the top left of digibank app > Notification Inbox 

You will see two tabs:  

Banking  For Transactional alerts  

Promo  For Marketing and Promotions 


Yes, if you have opted to receive mobile push notifications, you can access them without logging in.

30 days. You can delete and manage the messages in your inbox accordingly.

In the event you lost your mobile phone, you can:

  1. Enable Push Notifications on your new mobile phone 
     
  2. Customise your alert preferences at Internet Banking

Yes, you will need digibank app to be able to receive Push Notifications.
