It's easy! To enjoy our dollar-for-dollar matched savings (up to S$10), your child just needs to make at least 5 eligible Smart Buddy transactions during the promotion period. This helps them learn good spending habits while boosting their savings!
Good news! The total value of the digital Smiley Stamps, plus any monthly savings and the S$1 bonus dollar (if applicable), will be credited to your child's linked account or your debiting account by the 10th of the following month.
You can easily see how many digital Smiley Stamps your child has earned!
- Daily allowance users: Savings are calculated daily, and stamps are awarded by the next day.
- Weekly allowance users: Savings are calculated weekly, and stamps are awarded by the following week. (Just a heads-up: if the last week of a month spills into the next, those savings will show up as part of the first week of the new month.)
You can always view the number of digital Smiley Stamps your child has received in the monthly stamp book within the Smart Buddy app.
Almost all Smart Buddy transactions! This includes payments made both in school and outside of school. The only exception is public transportation transactions. Your child can use their Smart Buddy for contactless payments at over 10,000 NETS merchants island-wide, including popular spots like 7-11, McDonald’s, and FairPrice.
Nope, there's no minimum spend! Your child simply needs to make 5 eligible Smart Buddy transactions to qualify for matched savings during the promotion.
Absolutely! Your child can still qualify for an additional S$1 bonus each month. This happens if their Smart Buddy account is linked to a crediting child's account and they collect 20 digital stamps (worth S$10) in a month. These 20 digital stamps can come from this matched savings campaign or by purchasing them at participating Smart Buddy-enabled bookstores as part of our regular Smart Buddy Stamps Savings programme.
