Important information

  • PayNow transfer limit is up to $200,000.00 per transfer and subject to your daily local transfer limit.
  • Payee/Recipient must have a PayNow Profile for the transfer to be completed.
  • You do not need to be registered for PayNow to send funds via PayNow.
  • If you are making frequent transfers to the same recipient, you may add a Paynow Recipient.
  • Transfers are immediate.

How to transfer funds using PayNow

There are various channels which you may transfer funds using PayNow with us. The most convenient method would be via digibank mobile.

Step 1
Launch your digibank mobile app, tap on PayNow and log in with your Touch / Face ID or digibank User ID & PIN.

Select the mode of transfer and enter recipient's details. Tap Next .

Select account to transfer money from and enter the amount you wish to transfer. Input your comments(if any) and tap Next.

Step 4
Review your transfer and tap Transfer Now to complete your transaction.
You will receive the status of your transfer via Email/Push Notification/SMS (depending on your settings on Manage Alerts)

Log in to digibank online with your User ID & PIN.

Complete the Authentication Process.

Under Transfer, select To PayNow (Mobile Number, NRIC or UEN).

Click Transfer next to the recipient's name under PayNow Recipients.

Input your recipient's details and click Next.

Verify your transaction details and click Submit.

Click Finish and your transfer is now completed.


Frequently Asked Questions

Before performing a PayNow transfer, you should check whether the PayNow Proxy (mobile number/NRIC) you are sending funds to belongs to your intended payee. You may also check whether the displayed Nickname belongs to the person to whom you are transferring funds.
For PayNow transfers made by you, your recipient will be able to see your full name as registered with the bank. We are required to share this information with the receiving bank in line with the prevention of money laundering. The receiving bank may display your full name to enable the recipient to identify the sender.

For PayNow transfers received by you, your sender will only be able to see your PayNow nickname as chosen by you.
