How does deductible and co-payment work?

Co-Insurance and Deductible are applicable for "Veterinary Treatment Expenses Benefit" only.

Excluded Dog Breeds mean any one of the following dog breeds are excluded from coverage under this Policy:

  • Deductible means the first and fixed portion of the claim amount which is payable by you for each and every claim under the Veterinary Expenses Cover Benefit. The deductible which is borne by you is stated in your Policy Schedule.
  • Co-Insurance means the applicable percentage value listed in your Policy Schedule that, with regards to coverage under the Veterinary Expenses Cover Benefit, represents the amount of any loss for each and every single claim which you shall bear at your own risk and shall be uninsured by us. The Co-Insurance should be calculated before the deductible is applied to the claimed amount.
