From 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2026, new Smart Buddy users who:

  • Complete at least 10 in-school transactions
  • Complete at least 10 out-of-school transactions
  • Save part of their allowance

can receive up to S$10 in matched savings as a one-time reward via digital Smiley Stamps. This gives children an early boost towards their savings goals while encouraging regular saving habits from the start.

For Existing Smart Buddy Users

Every savings milestone is worth celebrating.

From 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2026, existing Smart Buddy users who:

  • Complete at least 3 in-school transactions
  • Complete at least 3 out-of-school transactions
  • Achieve 1 savings goal each month

can earn S$6 in rewards every month through digital Smiley Stamps. By rewarding consistent saving behaviour, Smart Buddy helps children stay motivated while building healthy money habits over time.

All rewards and matched savings are credited as digital Smiley Stamps. Matched savings are rounded to the nearest dollar.

Get your child moving and saving with the POSB Smart Buddy Steps Challenge. The more steps they take, the more they can grow their savings and get closer to their goals.

Earn Up to S$10 in Matched Savings Each Month

From 1 Sep to 30 Nov 2026, eligible Smart Buddy users with an activated POSB Smart Buddy Watch and an active Child Profile can earn matched savings rewards each month by achieving the following step milestones:

  • 25,000 steps clocked: Receive up to S$2 in matched savings
  • 50,000 steps clocked: Receive an additional up to S$3 in matched savings (total of up to S$5 in matched savings)
  • 75,000 steps clocked: Receive an additional up to S$5 in matched savings (total of up to S$10 in matched savings)

Matched savings are awarded based on your child's eligible savings for the month and credited as digital Smiley Stamps.

Exclusive World Car-Free Day Rewards

In celebration of World Car-Free Day, participants can also qualify for exclusive rewards based on their step counts from 1 to 22 Sep 2026.

Winners will be notified via push notification, where details on prize collection and redemption will be shared.
